Hello everyone and welcome! We wanted to take a moment to introduce ourselves and tell you who we are and what we want Society Jane to be. We are Dayna and Alanna.

We first met in 2013 while working in the same salon. What started as an easy and natural friendship quickly became a borderline obsession with each other and now, here we are 7 years later, still best friends!

We are both highly passionate about the hair industry as well as the many other avenues that naturally flow from that. Fashion, make-up, photoshoots, and even interior design are just some of the outlets we love to pour energy into.

For the last few years we have dreamed, planned and designed every last detail of our salon so we could make our dream a reality and it has finally happened!

We couldn’t be more excited to be a part of the downtown Fernie community. We will be a safe place where our clients can relax, let go and enjoy the rejuvenating atmosphere. We can’t wait to get you in our chairs, get our hands in your hair and let our artistry come alive!

DAYNA DELUCA

Dayna DeLuca has been cutting hair for over 12 years since graduating from the AVEDA Institute in Victoria in 2007.

She is the co-owner and master stylist at Society Jane. She is continually upgrading her education so she can stay current with new trends and techniques. Alongside all her goals and accomplishments over the years, Society Jane is by far her greatest achievement.

Fashion colours, balayage, women’s cuts, men’s cuts and styling are her strongest and most passionate areas in the industry.

Dayna will always go the extra mile for her clients and loves to collaborate so she can achieve their most desired hair goals.

ALANNA LAURIN

Alanna Laurin moved from Ontario to the East Kootenays in 2009, and since then has built a career in the hair industry. Graduating from the College of the Rockies in 2012, she is continually learning and sharpening her craft through ongoing education.

Alanna is co-owner and master stylist at Society Jane, which has been on of her most fulfilling professional accomplishments. She strives to create an environment where people feel comfortable and confident, while allowing her to freely do what she does best….hair!

She specializes in cutting and styling curly hair. Alanna also enjoys women and men’s cuts, along with customized colouring and effortless everyday styling.

CHLOE FORSTER

Chloe graduated from the Vancouver Hair Academy in 2012. After working as a stylist and educator in downtown Vancouver for over seven years, she moved to the Elk Valley in 2019.

She is a senior stylist at Society Jane and loves working with her clients to create beautiful hair.

Chloe specializes in blondes, balayage and creating rich brunettes, as well as both men’s and women’s cuts. Book online with Chloe now!

NICOLE

Nicole graduated from the Aveda Institute in Calgary in 2015, she worked at Hedkandi salon for 2 years then moved to Fernie in 2017 to begin her hair journey.

Nicole loves meeting new people, building great relationships and making clients feel their best.

She specializes in blonds, cutting women’s long hair and is certified in installing volume weft extensions. Nicole also enjoys doing blow outs for special occasions and events. Book online with Nicole today!
